"Peace be to you, and peace be to your house, and peace be to all you have." 1 Samuel 25:6
Here, we are making disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We strive to create lasting relationships with each other and Jesus.
Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:39 am in the Fellowship Hall or at 11 am in the Sanctuary. Both services are broadcast LIVE on Facebook from our page at Bethlehem UMC-Claremont, NC. www.facebook.com/Bethlehem-UMC-Claremont-NC-311154802569244
MIRACLE SUNDAY June 4, 2023 10am in the Sanctuary
We will celebrate and give our offerings to Miracle of Bethlehem on Miracle Sunday, June 4th. There will be one service beginning at 10am in the Sanctuary. We will also have music from our VBS kids dressed as SuperHeroes. Lunch will be served after the service. Then there will be Family Fun for all. You may get to see Mr. Jearld Leonhardt go down the waterslide if we reach our goal. Let's make this happen!
We have heard very powerful testimonies from Dayne & Terri Miller, Autumn Canipe, Everett Setzer, Winter Setzer, Kathy Sigmon, LaRue Marshall and Ryan & Mara Yount about their individual Miracles. We have laughed and cried listening to the stories that were shared. One thing all the stories have in common is that God can and does answer prayers and works miracles.
What is the Miracle of Bethlehem about? The goal of the Miracle Campaign is to provide funds for the cost of further facility and grounds renewal needs and to pay off our remaining debt. As we have resumed normal activities following the Covid years, Bethlehem has had to make costly repairs and upgrades to renew and update our facilities. Without these unexpected and costly repairs, we would not have been able to reopen Bethlehem’s Child Development Center facilities, among other things. Below is a Project List for currently approved and anticipated needs over the Spring of this year. While Bethlehem members have been generously responding to all of these needs, the scale and timeline they were needed required debt, $60,000 of which remains unpaid. The campaign goal is to receive $100,000 or more in campaign gifts by TheMiracle ofBethlehem Campaign’s conclusion. The campaign will not request pledges but will receive gifts on Miracle Sunday, June 4, 2023. Any Campaign funds received over and above these needs would go into Bethlehem’s Building Fund for future repairs and projects.
